ne1 know this plant?
I bought this plant at Wal-mart. I lost the tag and can not find it ne where else. I don't have a picture at this time.
It is supposedly an African succulent, vine form. The leaves are pod shaped, it has an almost clear strip down the side of the leaf, to supposedly draw in light like a window. If you break the leaf (pod) it is full of a clear liquid. it is a medium green with very thin runners.
It was in a clump when i got it, now it has very long vines, it has not bloomed as yet, so I don't know if it does or not.
Can ne1 help?
my guess is that this is a variety of string-of-beads vine, Senecio rowleyanus. Some varieties have more pointy leaves, some quite round. There's a picture in Wickipedia. The flowers are a half-open yellow daisey, not nearly as showy as the leaves. Wash your hands after handling the juice, it's supposed to be poisonous. If you wind the vine back up into the pot, it'll send down roots and eventually you can have a new plant to share. You seem to be doing fine with it, if it's now a long vine, keep up the good work.
