want to plant Bearded Iris, but daffodil bulbs are planted?
i have a bed of daffodils and scented hyacinths. well this year a large portion of the daffodils did not flower and the hyacinth flower stems were a little weak, but they did flower. but anyway, i was going to till over the ground and plant bearded iris rhizomes, which can be planted barely above ground level. should I dig up the daffodil and hyacinth bulbs, OR just plant over them, and see what happens? i dont know where the daffodil or hyacinths bulbs are underground, so im wondering should I just plant the iris's regardless, because basically the whole area is covered wit daffodils.
just plant the Iris than remove the daffodils that you don't want when they come up next year
