Can I plant forget-me-nots outside in Minnesota?
I'm starting my babies in a pot and they just came up today. If I transplant them to my outdoor flower bed in early May, can I expect them to come up next year? Do they reseed easily?
Yes, you can transplant 'forget-me-not' outside in Minnesota by mid-May. Once established they re-seed themselves so much that sometimes you may have to work to limit the spread. I have them in my garden in Ottawa which is as cold as Minnesota (& may be more if not less). The bluish colour are more hardy than the pinkish ones. If you loose them by chance you can buy seeds and they germinate easily.
